Ólafur Axelsson has operated as an architect and music composer for a long time by now. He spoke about his experience in selecting between the two fields and how they actually are of the same family in many ways. Expressing how all creative work is of the same family.

The project has been run for one week now and people are coming together with dialogue, finding common ways and what is worth talking about and approaching. The groups have moved around town, visited various activities locations, visited arts and design shows and basically come together. The second week is the one for more action ending with a dialogue presentation when we come to the close of this week. All looking very much forward to the conclusions that are going to be the beginnings of new things, ideas and methods.
For the strengthening of the thoughts and analysis one group went bowling, a fundamental part of theoretical research. An other group went to a sweat lodge and others to the pub. Here are some images to record.

Now, we have done almost one week of the project and the dialogue and experimentation has been very fruitful, lots of activities and visits to arts institutes, music locations and of course the cafes. Friday evening is a meet-up in a place in town of course
On Thursday Anton told about his research into Icelandic type that he has been involved in with others here in Iceland. The groups are doing fabulous work, experimenting with dialogue, space, thoughts and I don’t know what not! Every day is a new experience and the Academy is moving in great directions!
